There is no longer two flights in the junior match play championship, instead there will be a single 64 player match tree with a 36 hole final.

Age Eligibility:
Open to CGA members through the summer immediately following graduation from high school, who have not reached their 19th birthday on or before the last day of a tournament (July 17, 20098).

Championship Format:
Round one is a stroke play qualifying round. The low 64 players will advance to match play. If entered the defending champion will be the number one seed and will not need to qualify. 32 players will not advance to match play, there is no refund for players who do not advance. All play is at scratch.
The championship match will be a 36-hole match.

Qualifiers:
All non-exempt players must compete in one of the available qualifiers. The cost to qualify is $50. If a player qualifies for the championship he must pay the remaining championship fee of $65 by Thursday, July 9th or the player will forfiet his spot in the championship to the first available alternate.
The number of qualifiers allocated to each qualifying site will be determined after the registration deadline. Allocations are based on three variables (1) the overall number of competitors attempting to qualify for the championship, (2) The field size of each qualifier, (3) the number of total qualifying spots available for the championship proper.

Automotive Transportation:
No automotive transportation is allowed for this event. A player may accept a ride from a rules official if it will help to speed up play.

From the intersection of Woodmen RD and Powers Blvd, travel 5 miles east to Meridian Road. Turn left (north) on Meridian Road. Travel 2 miles to Londonderry Road. Turn right (east) on Londonderry Road. Turn right on Antler Creek Drive (the first intersection) and follow it to the clubhouse. From the intersection of Powers Blvd and Hwy 24, travel 8 miles east on Hwy 24 to Woodmen Road . Turn left (west) on Woodmen Road to the second light which is Meridian Road. Turn right (north) on Meridian Road. Travel 2 miles to Londonderry Road. Turn right (east) on Londonderry Road.
