***OPEN DIVISION PRE-QUALIFYING****
There are pre-qualifiers which all non-exempt players wishing to compete in the open division must compete in before they will be allowed to register for the championship. Please refer to the 2008 schedule for pre-qualifier sites and dates.
The number of qualifiers allocated to each qualifying site will be determined after the registration deadline. Allocations are based on three variables (1) the overall number of competitors attempting to qualify for the championship, (2) The field size of each qualifier, and(3) the number of total qualifying spots available for the championship proper.

PLAYERS AGE 60 AND OVER WHO WISH TO COMPETE IN THE SUPER-SENIOR DIVISION DO NOT NEED TO COMPETE IN A PRE-QUALIFER, this division will still be selected by handicap index if the field of 25 is over-subscribed as of the championship deadline. Please return to the main schedule and complete a registration for the Super-Senior Championship.
All players must declare which division they wish to compete in at the time of registration. Registration and participation in a pre-qualifier is considered a declaration of a players intent to compete in the open division. Players will not be allowed to switch divisions (flights) after registration is closed.

Format: All play is at scratch. The first round is an 18-hole stroke play qualifier. The low 63 qualifiers advance to match play. If entered, the defending champion will be the automatic number one seed in the Match Play bracket and will not be required to qualify in the medal play round. No refund for non-qualifiers.
