Eligibility:
Players must be 50 years of age as of the first day of the competition (August 18, 2008). Any player who is over the age of 60 will be entered into the super-senior division but will still be eligible to win the overall championship

Qualifiers:
All non-exempt players must compete in one of the three available qualifiers. The cost to qualify is $75. If a player qualifies for the championship he must pay the remaining championship balance of $115 no later than Thursday, August 14th or the player will forfiet his spot in the championship to the first available alternate.
The number of qualifiers allocated to each qualifying site will be determined after the registration deadline. Allocations are based on three variables (1) the overall number of competitors attempting to qualify for the championship, (2) The field size of each qualifier, and(3) the number of total qualifying spots available for the championship proper.

Championship format:
54 holes of stroke play, there will be a cut after 36 holes to the low 40 players and ties for the final round. All play is at scratch. No refunds for players who withdrawal during the championship or fail to make the cut.

Automotive Transportation:
Cart fees are included in the championship registration fee for all three rounds. Players may choose to walk, however if they do so there is no refund of the cart fee. |
